National
Team |
This
group will consist of USA swimming “Junior Championship” qualifiers
and above. These swimmers have an attendance requirement
depending on the training group. A sub-group within the National
group will be those 13-14 year old swimmers exhibiting an
elite level based upon USA Swimming age group time standards,
coaches’ evaluation, and commitment to a national level
training program. The coaching staff will complete the team
with those 14 and older swimmers whot have exhibited a minimum
of AAA 13-14 girls and AA 15-16 Boys, national time standards,
demonstrated commitment to a national training program and
coaching staff evaluation.

Congratulations Christian Yeager for joining Roger Dent (100 & 200 fly), Michael Lennon (1500 free), Erik Heinemann (200 fly), Emily Kelly, Jack Wagner and Oliver Lee as an Olympic Trial Qualifier!!! Christian swam his first cut at the Winter National Championship in Atlanta in the 200 m backstroke!! Roger Dent also had an amazing meet in Atlanta where he swam to his second cut in the 100 m fly and dropped an additional 2 seconds under his 200 m fly cut with an outstanding race to win the C final in that event!! Great SWIMS!!! |
Open Water Success Congratulations Megan, Lindsay and Molly for competing in your first Open Water National Championships. The girls flew to Florida to participate in the 5k race. It was a great experience and the results were fantastic!! Congratulations Megan for your 12th place finish!!
Montreal was a successful meet for the athletes who competed. It was also a thrill for those who got to meet Michael Philps. It's always important to have your mascara on cause you never know where the camera is!!! |
