Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a moment to enjoy the beautiful warm weather over the weekend. Unfortunately, today we have a completely different situation. It looks like the temperature will drop below 40F this evening. Please remind your athletes to wear appropriate clothing to protect themselves from the wind and cold weather. This may include extra layers, warm socks, hats, parkas, or winter jackets. We want our athletes to stay HEALTHY! The practice schedule this week is as follows: Monday through Wednesday: NORMAL with dryland included Thursday: Group A 3:45 - 5:15 pm, Group B 5:15 - 6:45 pm Friday & Saturday: Thanksgiving Invite Meet Sunday: 7:00 - 9:00 am I've attached below the AG1 final Thanksgiving entry report. Additional meet information will go out in the next few days. That is all for now, more information to come. Stay warm, Gabi Sofia Happy Tuesday!
Another fantastic swim meet is in our books! AG1 athletes had outstanding swims bringing home over 90 % personal best times! Way to go, TEAM! Special shout out to Ryan Yao setting Metropolitan records in 500 Free, 200 IM, and 200 Free events! Ryan also took down an old 100 backstroke team record and improved his own record in the 100 IM. Hats off to Ryan, Kingston, Luke, and Ivan for putting their names on the LIAC Record board in the 10 & Under Boys 400 Free Relay! Well done, squad! Congratulations to our new NCSA Age Group Champs qualifiers: Kasey Anderson, Callen Carney, Lily Coratti, Charlotte Kohner, Ginny Kutner, Summer Lee, Luke Meehan, Gavin Park, Mia Ryzhikov, Emily Wang, Max Yao, and Jayden Yun. It is time to start looking for tickets to ORLANDO! Attached to this email, you will find results from Virginia and the final AG1 Thanksgiving entry report. I made a few changes. Please take a look and share it with your athletes. Have a lovely week, Gabi Sofia |
