Hi Everyone, It's hard to believe November is already here, and the holidays are about to begin. It’s going to be busy!! This is when things start picking up speed, we have lots of meets, travel, etc on the horizon! Practice Schedule: We are on a normal schedule Monday through Thursday this week. Friday, those attending the Virginia meet will have practice from 3:45 pm - 5:00 pm, all of the other AG1 athletes will swim 5:00 - 6:45 pm to prep for the time trial on Sunday. There is no practice on Sunday due to the time trial. Sunday 11/7 Time Trial: 11 Overs: Check-in 11:00 am Warm-up 11:15 am Start 12:00 pm Finish Roughly 2:00 pm Entries are attached! No spectators will be permitted as the event is in the Freedom Pool and heat sheets will be sent out Thursday or Friday. Gabi and I will be traveling to Virginia for the meet. Coach Gabby B, Verny, Steve, and Leanna will be covering Friday night workouts as well as AG1 participation in the 11/7 time trial. Those are the coaches the swimmers should look for at the time trial. Buffalo Travel: Hotel paperwork is still being finalized. All athletes are expected to be in Buffalo by 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Thursday 12/2 for a team warm-up. All athletes should be prepared to stay through finals Sunday evening. The last opportunity to qualify for the meet will be the 11/7 time trial or the Virginia Meet. Preliminary entries are attached to this email. NCAP Qualifiers: We are waiting for the meet announcement from the team hosting the NCAP Invitational meet in Maryland the weekend of December 9-12th. I will email you the information as soon as I hear something from MD. “If it was EASY, everyone would be doing it” Last week AG1 had the first test set going 6 x 100 free on 6 min from the block! Your athletes had a great experience chasing their best times at the practice. So many athletes took an opportunity to go for their best time! I attached the results of this set, so you and your swimmers can look at it. That is all for this week! Busy season is just getting started! Good luck to all racing this weekend! SWIM FAST! SWIM LIAC!
