Every practice becomes an opportunity for your athletes to sharpen their skills and build confidence. “Attention to detail is not about perfection. It’s about excellence, about constant improvement. “ Please continue encouraging your swimmers to eat nutritious food, stay hydrated, and sleep well. Thank you, Gabi Sofia Hi Everyone,
I would like to acknowledge the efforts of AG1 swimmers at the practice last week. The kids were on fire! "If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself." – Henry Ford. At this time of the season, it is essential for athletes to take vitamins, eat nutritious food and have a minimum of 8 hours of sleep to boost their performance in the pool. Eating a wide variety of foods, including whole grains, vegetables, fruit, dairy foods, alternatives, lean protein sources, and healthy fats, will help athletes to ensure that vitamin and mineral needs are met. The whole family may need to get organized for healthy eating – this can offer an excellent opportunity to encourage good food and fluid intake for everyone! Please check your athlete’s mash bag to see if they have: a snorkel, paddles, pull buoy, ankle strap, short & long fins, and drag suit. I highly recommend writing your child’s name on it. Our lost and found box gets loaded with the equipment we find after practice. Unfortunately, we don’t know who it belongs to. That is all at this time. Have a lovely week.
