LIAC LB White TEAM
To Provide an Environment where Champions are Inevitable

White group is comprised of swimmers ages 7 to 11.   Swimmers will learn to train and compete at a level appropriate for their age and ability.  Practices at this level are a combination of training and technique.  There is no mandatory attendance requirement for this group.  Emmy Piantanida is the Director of the LB Branch and the Head coach of the White team.

  Welcome back White Team!

YMiddies Meet

Wow—there’s really no better word to describe how incredibly our swimmers performed this weekend. They truly proved to themselves that their hard work is paying off. We saw so many best times.
What made me especially proud was seeing how the athletes supported and entertained themselves throughout the weekend. They played together, stayed engaged, and at the same time paid close attention to what was happening around them. It was wonderful to see such a positive and focused team environment.

MLK MEET

Congratulations to all the athletes who competed at the MLK Weekend Meet! We saw an incredible number of best times and so many outstanding swims. Every athlete stepped onto the pool deck ready to give their best, and it absolutely showed in the water. There is always technique to continue improving, but I could not be more proud of the effort, focus and determination displayed. Each athlete represented themselves and the team in the best possible way, and we are extremely proud of every single one of them.
During the Holiday break, White Group focused on specific tasks, such as backstroke starts. we will continue working on them but we achieved great success so far.

HOLIDAY PARTY

The Holiday Party on Saturday December 20th was an absolute splash of fun! From high energy relays races to an exciting water polo game, the morning was packed with non stop action, laughter and great vibes. It was perfect mix of friendly competition, teamwork bringing everyone together to celebrate the Holidays Season.

Eagle Invite

Not even the snow could stop our athletes from making it to the Eagle Invite. It was a fast and rewarding meet.

Light Up The Block Meet

Our block party was an absolute success, filled with energy and teamwork. We saw countless personal best! Everyone truly gave their all and pushed their hearts to the limit, achieving great results in each event swam.
What made the day even more special was the way our Senior stepped up to support the young ones, offering guidance, cheering them and leading the Cheer with incredible enthusiasm, setting the tone for an amazing racing morning!

Jerry The Turkey

Every November, White Group welcomes a special guest: Jerry The Turkey! Now, Gerry showed at the beginning of November looking a little bald. He was shy, chilly and in serious need of some feather -growing magic.
That's when our athletes came to the rescue!  Thanks to the hard work and great effort each athlete put in at every practice, Gerry became fuller and brighter. And now... drumroll, please... TA-DA! Gerry the Turkey is  officially FULL of feathers!
Great job White Group!

Potluck November 19th

Thank you to everyone who attended the Potluck event last night, Wednesday, November 19th. It was a great success! We had an amazing variety of delicious dishes, and the kids had a blast playing with the darts, crosswords, and word scrambles. It was wonderful to see them enjoying time together.

Fall fest Meet

Congratulations to all who competed this past Sunday 11/16. Tons of best times, faster turns and great team work helping each other to read the heat sheet!
 Way to go White Team!

Maria Parmanan Invitational and BGNW 8& Under November 8th-9th

White Team swam at two different meets with outstanding results. For the first time, we where at different pools, not our home pool, and it was great to see each one of them be confident, and step up on the block and race their heart out!

They achieved their goals, dropped time and are getting faster and faster each week! Practices are becoming more challenging and I can't wait to see the results at this Sunday's Fall Meet on November 16th.

Let's Go, White Team!

Halloween Practice

Thursday, 10/30, our Age Group and Senior Group had a blast during our Halloween practice! They had so much fun with candies relays and bucket relays- it was great to see so many happy faces and Halloween spirit all around!!!!!

Here are some fun moments from our Halloween practice!
Fall Festival October 4th-5th
What a way to start our season! Fall Festival  this past weekend was full of personal best times, great underwaters and starts! Reading the Heat Sheet was an amazing outcome of this weekend! We are back in the pool to BE ready to challenge ourself to get better, stronger and faster!

Take your mark, GOOOOOO!
White group will be back in the pool on Tuesday September 9th and I couldn't be more excited to kick off the season, welcoming back all the athletes on the pool deck.

We are very proud that LIAC is a Gold Medal Podium National Ranked Club. But what's immensely more important, what moves us to return to the pool deck every day, is the community that makes up the LIAC family - our athletes, who work hard every day and face their challenges head on, in and out of the pool, and their families. The countless friendships that paint our team create the basis of our community, which is rooted in sportsmanship and mutual support. Our athletes are what make LIAC, well, LIAC, and we can't wait for our next adventures together!
