Tryouts are for swimmers who can already complete one lap of each of the 4 competitive strokes.  If you're not there yet, no problem - and no need to tryout.   Sign up for a few lessons at Long Island Swim School to prepare yourself instead!

2024 - 2025 Season Tryouts

Tentative tryout dates and times are listed below.  Programs will be filled on a first come first serve basis.  All swimmers must have an appointment to tryout.  

*Please note you will need to scroll to on the calendar to see the tryout dates.  Tryouts listed in GREEN are being conducted at the FREEDOM POOL.  Tryouts listed in YELLOW are being conducted at our SYOSSET location.  Tryouts listed in BLUE are being conducted at our GARDEN CITY location.

Please note that Freedom Pool tryouts require an appointment.  The tryout at Long Beach are drop in - no appointment necessary.

​For swimmers looking to join our stroke clinic and Narwhal programs in Garden City and Syosset. All swimmers MUST have an appointment to tryout.
