LIAC 13 & O 3TEAM
To Provide an Environment where Champions are Inevitable

The 13 & O 3 Team consists of those swimmers ages 13-14 years of age who exhibit an elite level based upon USA Swimming age group time standards, coaches’ evaluation, and commitment to a national level training program.  This athlete is willing to make the commitment to representing LIAC in swim meets and have achieved swim values of 400 points. This group is offered 6 practices a week. Participation at the athlete's highest level of competition is mandatory for this group. 

Michael Lennon is currently in his eighth year with the Long Island Aquatic Club. A native of Williston Park, NY, Lennon earned degrees in both English and Journalism from the University of Connecticut. 

Prior to swimming at the University of Connecticut, Lennon swam for the Long Island Aquatic Club and competed at the 2012 Olympic Trials in the 1500 freestyle. He is currently in his second year as the head coach of 13 & O #3 and his fifth year as an assistant coach with 13 & O #1.
