Racing season is back and LIAC swimmers are ready to rumble! This weekend our athletes will compete in the CeRaVe Invitational at Rutgers University, and at the annual MLK meet at the Aquatic Center. The swimmers have been training hard through this recent cold snap and are ready to face off against the competition... and against each other! For the 2018 Frozen Face Off LIAC swimmers have been divided into teams... the the team with the most best times will be crowned the 2018 Frozen Face Off Champions!

Last year, through your support of our Casino Night, Chance Baskets, LIAC magnet sales and other fundraising efforts we were successful in providing more than $25,000 in funds to support the construction of our outdoor Freedom Pool. Now that the team is enjoying the benefits of our own, dedicated pool and the outside structure is “almost complete”, we have a new fundraising goal: The Freedom Pool Strength and Conditioning Room.
Our 2018 fundraising goal is to raise a total of $35,000 to support the construction of a dedicated dry land, strength-training area, to be located with the Freedom Pool. This dedicated facility would be outfitted with state of the art commercial equipment to ensure the highest possible level of safety and functionality.
