LIAC leads Metro with 11 USA Swimming Scholastic All-Americans (EXCELLENCE IN SCHOOL AND IN THE POOL)
USA Swimming has announced the recipients of the 2014-2015 Scholastic All-American awards. This honor acknowledges national level swimmers who display great success in the pool and in the classroom! Swimmers must have swum a time that betters the 2011 Junior National time standards as well as maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher throughout the school year. These athletes exemplify the definition of student-athlete.
This year, 11 LIAC swimmers were recognized as Scholastic All-Americans.

Maggie Aroesty, a member of the USA team that traveled and competed in Singapore August 25-30, Maggie finished 10th at the FINA World Junior Championships. Congratulations on your outstanding performance.
