Long Island Aquatic Club’s Jason Louser was one of 67 up-and-coming swimmers named today to the 2018-19 USA Swimming National Junior Team.
Jason’s reaction: “I am so proud to be a part of the USA National Junior Team. I look back at the support and training environment my coaches and Long Island Aquatic Club have provided and I am truly thankful. Making the USA National Junior Team is an accomplishment, not only for myself, but for all the people in my life that have pushed me to believe in dreams I once thought were unobtainable. For all the young swimmers my belief is that “You only regret the chances you don’t take.” This past year Jason was the NYS High School Champions in the 200 IM and the 100 Breaststroke. This summer Jason won the 400 IM at the USA Junior National Championships. The 400 IM time of 4:18.59 qualified Jason for the National Junior Team. Congratulations to LIAC’s Ginny Nussbaum, named one of the Top Ten Age‐Group coaches in the United States for the third time in the last six years. This prestigious ranking by The American Swim Coaches
Association is in recognition of the ability to guide young swimmers to the national level. Ginny’s reaction: “I’m honored to be considered among these Great Coaches. They are a who’s who in American Age‐Group Swimming. For sure, this is recognition of a successful program. It’s only possible due to all the hard work of LIAC’s dedicated coaches, swimmers and parents. Throughout the entire program from Learn to Swim thru International Competitive Swimming we all follow the same process and that process works. It’s great to share this award with such a dedicated staff.” Teaching success from beginner to Olympian is more than a tag line at LIAC. Thanks Ginny and all the Age Group coaches, swimmers and parents that make this possible. Swim Fast Swim LIAC |
