Long Island Aquatic Club’s Jason Louser was one of 67 up-and-coming swimmers named today to the 2018-19 USA Swimming National Junior Team.
Jason’s reaction: “I am so proud to be a part of the USA National Junior Team. I look back at the support and training environment my coaches and Long Island Aquatic Club have provided and I am truly thankful. Making the USA National Junior Team is an accomplishment, not only for myself, but for all the people in my life that have pushed me to believe in dreams I once thought were unobtainable. For all the young swimmers my belief is that “You only regret the chances you don’t take.” This past year Jason was the NYS High School Champions in the 200 IM and the 100 Breaststroke. This summer Jason won the 400 IM at the USA Junior National Championships. The 400 IM time of 4:18.59 qualified Jason for the National Junior Team.
