It’s been quite a summer for rising high school senior Maggie Aroesty. After qualifying for the semi-finals at the US Olympic Trials in June she was selected to represent the United States at the Junior Pan-Pac Championships in Maui, HI.
Right off the bat at Maui, Maggie was given the honor of being voted as one of the USA Team Captains. She then did what she does best in the pool, earning a bronze medal in the 200 IM, and a fourth place in the 400 IM. Maggie also swam the 100 and 200 meter Breaststrokes. All told, Maggie set three new Metropolitan records, 100 meter breaststroke, 1:08.24, the 200 meter IM, 2:13.23 and the 400 meter IM, 4:44.26. Congratulations Maggie. Comments are closed.
