Long Island Aquatic Club is pleased to announce that Coach Keith Green has joined the staff. “Coach Green” brings years of national level swimming experience to our program and we look forward to having him on deck. Coach Ferris said “I’ve known Keith since he was an age group swimmer and have always been favorably impressed with him as a person and a competitor, he will be a great addition to our staff”. The retired FDNY firefighter is married to Katie and father of two, Molly and Sean. Katie is LIAC record holder and former USA National Junior Member Emily Kelly’s aunt.
A former High School All-American and Catholic High School National Champion in both the 50 and 100 Freestyle who went on to swim at the University of Georgia. Coach Green will be a tremendous asset for our speed program. Locally he has coached at Molloy High School and this past season served as an age group coach with Long Beach. He will spend time working with a number of groups including National, and Elite. Coach Green will also work with the new “Select Group” being charged with developing Sectional and National level swimmers.
