Hi Everyone, Congratulations to AG1 swimmers for their great performance at the travel meets! So many seconds swims at the finals and tons of personal best times! TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK! A very special SHOUT-OUT to our new NCSA qualifiers: Yuri Shlivko, Mae Strasser, Michael Meehan, Andrew Quach, Romeo Sanchez, Ivan Velykorodnyi, and Nathan Wang. Fantastic job, everyone!!!
This week's update has a lot of information in it regarding the remainder of our upcoming "regular season" meets, before we get to our championship meets in late February and March. RESULTS Attached to this email are Buffalo and NCAP results. UPCOMING MEETS Preliminary AG1 entries so as the meet information for SCAR TYR Invitational, AGUA, and WAC meets, are also attached. Please review all information and let me know if your athlete cannot attend any of these meets. If your swimmers have any questions or concerns regarding their events, I will be happy to discuss them at the practice. We will be hosting a LIAC Time Trial the weekend of January 28-29. Our coaching staff is currently working on the events and meet information. LIAC BOWLERO FUN We'd like to invite all LIAC 12 & Under swimmers to a fun day of Bowling Thursday, December 29th, from 3:30-5:30 pm at the Bowlero in Mineola (199 E Jericho Turnpike Mineola 11501). The cost is $32.99/child and includes 2-hr Bowling, Pizza, Chicken Tender & Fries, an Arcade Card, and lots of team fun! We need to book lane reservations. Please fill out the Google form to RSVP your athlete(s) ASAP: https://forms.gle/ii9dRAVPB28azDxd8 The holiday season is around the corner, which means we are back to hard training. If your family plans to go away, please search for the swim team in the area you will be staying in. We must keep our “fishes” in the water as much as possible. Let me know if you need any help with it. I know there is a lot of information in this newsletter. Please take your time reading it and let me know if you have any questions. I hope you all stay warm and cozy. It seems like winter is almost here. Thank you, Gabi Sofia
