I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
What a great start to the Championship season. AG1 athletes demonstrated excellent performance at the Silvers Championship meet last weekend! So many personal best times and new Age Group Champs cuts. Way to GO, CREW! I will share the official results once we have them available.
As we continue preparing for the big meets, I expect all swimmers to attend the practice every day. AG1 practice for this week is as follows:

We are 11 days away from the Age Group Championships. Athletes need to start getting their bodies ready to race. Fueling and hydrating before competition are essential to replenish energy stores and optimize hydration status. I attached a great source of information about fueling your athletes for competition to this email. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions about it.
Please check your kid’s team apparel for the coming meets. It includes a RED, WHITE, and Blue LIAC t-shirt, LIAC shorts, warm-up pants, and a jacket. Please ensure your athletes have extra goggles and LIAC swim cap in their backpacks if needed. We want our athletes to be fully prepared to rock and roll.
With only a few official weeks of winter left, an approaching storm could finally bring some snow to New York. Please stay tuned for any unexpected changes to our practice schedule.
I hope everyone stays cozy, warm, and healthy!
