Happy May Day!
Thank you, parents, for volunteering at the meet. Your time and help are greatly appreciated.
I attached the meet results and AG1 athletes’ long course best times to my email, so your kids can start setting their goals for this summer.
The new Metro 2023 Long Course Age Group and Senior Mets time standards are posted on the AG1 page and can be found at https://www.longislandswimming.com/elite.html. You just have to click the 2023 LC Age Group Time Standards or the 2023 LC Senior Mets Time Standards button to see the qualifying times.
Our practice schedule is regular this week. We will have dryland from 5:45 to 6:15 pm today and Wednesday. If you have an exercise mat, please give it to your kids so we can use it during the dryland. I expect all athletes to wear running shoes and workout clothes. It’s not safe to exercise with CROCS!
We are in full swing of hard training for the next month and a half. Please remind your kids to check their mesh bags to ensure they have all equipment required for AG1 swimmers. Writing the names on equipment really helps!
The updated AG1 Spring Kickoff entry report and meet information are attached. Please review it with your athletes and let me know if you have any questions.
We are still waiting for information for the Memorial Day meet in NJ. I will share it with you as soon as we get something from the host.
That is all for now.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
